Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 28, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Payper ("Payper", "we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the Payper website and invoice tool (the "Service"). Payper is an online service made available to users worldwide.

The short version: Payper runs entirely inside your web browser. Your invoices, clients, business details and payment information are stored on your own device and are never uploaded to our servers. We don't require an account and we don't sell your data.
1. Information we handle 2. Local storage 3. Payment links 4. Third parties 5. Cookies & analytics 6. Your rights 7. Contact

1. Information we handle

Payper is designed to work without collecting your personal information. Specifically:

  • We do not require registration. You can use the Service without creating an account or giving us your name or email.
  • We do not have a database of your invoices. The data you enter — invoice details, client information, your business details, and your payment methods (such as PayPal, Wise, Payoneer, bank, or crypto details) — is stored locally in your browser and is not transmitted to us.
  • Server logs. Like most websites, the hosting provider that serves the Payper site may automatically record standard technical information (such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested) for security and reliability. This is standard web-server logging and is not used to identify you personally.

2. Local storage on your device

Payper uses your browser's local storage to save your work so it's there when you return. This information stays on the device and browser you used. Because it is local:

  • Clearing your browser data, using private/incognito mode, or switching devices will not carry this data over.
  • You can back up or move your data yourself using the Export backup feature (which downloads a file to your device) and restore it with Import backup. These files are created and read entirely on your device.
  • You can delete your data at any time by removing invoices in the app or clearing your browser's site data for Payper.

3. Shareable payment links

When you create a shareable payment link, the invoice information is encoded inside the link itself (in the part of the URL after the "#" symbol, which browsers do not send to web servers). We do not store the invoice on a server.

Please note that anyone you send the link to — or anyone who obtains it — can view that invoice. Share links only with the intended recipient, and avoid including information you would not want that person to see.

4. Third-party services

Payper links out to services you choose to use. When you follow one of these, you leave Payper and are subject to that provider's own terms and privacy policy:

  • Payment providers (e.g., PayPal, Wise, Payoneer, your bank, or a crypto wallet) when you or your client uses your payment details. Payper does not process payments and is not a party to any transaction.
  • Email and messaging apps (e.g., your email client or WhatsApp) when you choose to send an invoice or reminder.

PDF generation happens locally in your browser; your invoice is not uploaded to create a PDF.

5. Cookies & analytics

Payper does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking to profile you. We do use Google Analytics to understand aggregate, anonymous usage of the website — such as which pages are viewed and general device and region information — so we can improve the Service. For this purpose Google Analytics may set cookies or similar identifiers. It does not receive the contents of your invoices, clients, or payment details, which stay in your browser and are never sent to us. You can opt out with Google's opt-out browser add-on or your browser's cookie controls; see also Google's Privacy Policy. The browser local storage described elsewhere in this policy is used only to make the Service function, not to track you across the web.

6. Your choices and rights

Because your data lives on your device, you are in control of it: you can view, edit, export, or delete it at any time within your browser. Depending on the country where you live, you may have additional rights under your local data-protection laws; if you believe we hold information about you, you may contact us using the details below and we will respond as required by applicable law. We do not sell personal information.

Payper is a general-purpose tool intended for business use by adults and is not directed to children under 13.

7. Future changes to features

Payper may in the future offer an optional account with cloud backup and syncing across devices. That feature would be opt-in, and if introduced we will update this Policy to describe what is stored and how, before you choose to use it. Using Payper without an account will remain available.

8. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.

9. Contact us

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or your data, contact us at [email protected].
