Why we built Payper
Most invoice generators stop at a PDF. You fill in a form, download a document, email it — and then you're on your own for the part that actually matters: getting paid. Chasing late payments, rewriting the same awkward reminder, wondering which invoices are still outstanding.
We thought the tool should own that whole loop. So every Payper invoice becomes a shareable payment page with your payment methods built in, it writes the follow-up reminders for you, and a simple tracker shows what's paid, unpaid and overdue. Same minute-to-make invoice — but pointed at the outcome, not just the paperwork.
What we believe
- Free, genuinely. No trial, no paid tier, no per-invoice charge. Freelancers shouldn't pay a subscription to send a bill.
- Private by design. Your invoices, clients and business details are stored only in your browser — nothing is uploaded to our servers. Your data stays yours. You can export a backup any time.
- Your brand, not ours. Every invoice and PDF carries only your logo and letterhead. Payper's name never appears on the document you send.
- No lock-in. No account required to start, and your data leaves as easily as it arrives via one-click Export & Import.
What Payper does
One free toolkit for the documents freelancers actually send:
- Invoices — with a payment page, reminders and a paid/unpaid tracker
- Quotes & estimates that convert to an invoice in one click
- Receipts, purchase orders and credit notes
- Payment reminders and plain-English invoicing guides
Who's behind it
Payper is an independent product built for freelancers and small studios worldwide. It isn't backed by ads or investors pushing you toward a paid plan — the goal is simply a free tool that helps people get paid. Have a question, a bug, or a feature idea? We'd genuinely like to hear it.
